Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital, founded in 1938, is a national Grade-A Tertiary General Hospital specializing in comprehensive geriatric treatment. It also serves as the Fifth People's Hospital / Second Clinical Medical College Affiliated to Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The hospital covers a construction area of 210,600 square meters, with 2,180 planned beds and 2,200 open beds.In 2019, Helse High-tech supplied over 3,500 sets of equipment for the hospital's newly built inpatient department, including ICU electric bed units, central-controlled manual three-section hospital bed units for general wards, as well as supporting ward facilities and nursing equipment.
A total of 1,000 light blue Series K side-controlled manual three-section hospital beds are installed across departments in the inpatient department:

★Side-controlled central braking system: Color-coded foot pedals on both left and right sides for braking, locking and steering. The bed can be easily moved by a single person;

★Fixed PE dining table board: Designed with grooves for cups and chopsticks and anti-pinch function for safety and practicality. It slides forward and backward on the guardrail to adjust dining distance, especially convenient for postpartum and obese patients;

★ Matching stainless steel bedside cabinets: Anti-fingerprint surface, elegant and easy to clean;

★Matching companion chairs: Pneumatic slow-lowering mechanism with anti-pinch and silent operation. Equipped with a master lock, it can be locked as a chair during the day and unlocked into a companion bed at night, facilitating unified ward management and maintaining a neat appearance.




Geriatrics Department is equipped with light blue custom height-adjustable manual hospital beds for elderly patients:

★Ergonomic height with overall lifting function, facilitating easy bed entry and exit for seniors and better supporting clinical treatment.


The operating rooms and gastroscopy rooms are equipped with CJ418K series patient transfer stretchers:

★The guardrails can be fixed in two positions via lowering and flipping: one position is flush with the bed surface to serve as a temporary puncture platform for emergency treatment and patient transfer; the other is vertically folded at 90° to the bed surface for convenient patient access;

★The guardrails are marked with backrest elevation angle scales, and a catheter groove is provided in the middle for convenient clinical operation;

★Equipped with a low-friction patient transfer mattress and a high-density PU contoured foam mattress:The low-friction transfer mattress is made of polyester fabric to effectively reduce friction with the bed surface, and is fitted with handles for safe and easy patient transfer between operating rooms and wards.The PU foam mattress offers comfortable support for prolonged use, such as anesthesia recovery in gastroscopy rooms, with a waterproof, stain-resistant and easy-to-clean surface.
