West China Guang'an Hospital of Sichuan University (Guang'an People's Hospital) was founded in February 1941 and accredited as a Grade-A Tertiary General Hospital in 2010.In September 2015, the People's Government of Guang'an City signed a strategic cooperation agreement with West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and the hospital adopted "West China Guang'an Hospital of Sichuan University" as its second name.In November 2016, the People's Government of Guang'an City signed a cooperation agreement with West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University, making the hospital a regional alliance hospital of West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University.
